Nisha Balwani is the Chief Executive Officer of RCI Technologies, an information technology firm that empowers government agencies to modernize and secure their digital systems, delivering high-value technical solutions that drive measurable business results. With over four decades of industry experience, RCI unites people, processes, and technology to provide end-to-end IT services tailored to the unique needs of their clients, reducing total cost of ownership and ensuring success in an evolving digital landscape. RCI’s core offerings include delivery of custom software development, project management, and technical staffing. 

Nisha is proud to lead RCI into its second generation, advancing the company’s mission to empower customers to use technology to create a more modern and equitable world. Under Nisha’s leadership, RCI has doubled its revenue by expanding its software solutions and integrations practice. Her leadership has been recognized by Forbes, where she was featured for successfully guiding the company through a generational transition.

Prior to becoming CEO, Nisha earned her MBA from Columbia Business School and served as the Head of Business Development at RCI Technologies. She also founded RENTALYA, the first US-based brand to provide South Asian formalwear as a rental service.

Nisha is deeply committed to mentoring and supporting women, especially women of color and those in the technology and entrepreneurship fields. She actively contributes as a Columbia Women in Business alumni mentor, sits on the WISE Committee of the US Pan Asian Chamber of Commerce, and advises minority business owners through her role as a mentor with New York City Small Business Services.
