With a career spanning over two decades in public service and business, Ms. Chan-Shue is a trailblazer in the fields of security, entrepreneurship, and advocacy for underrepresented communities.
After a 22-year career with the New York Police Department’s (NYPD) Organized Crime Control Bureau (OCCB), Ms. Chan-Shue retired as a Sergeant Special Assignment. During her tenure, she developed expertise in crime prevention, risk management, and leadership under high-pressure conditions. Building on this wealth of experience, she founded City Safe Partners, an elite security firm based in Harlem, New York, that fosters a sense of community safety through innovative, client-focused security solutions.
What started as a small, mom-and-pop operation has grown under Ms. Chan-Shue’s leadership into a thriving organization that employs over 700 people and generates over $20 million in annual revenue.
